DIRECTOR--EMORPHIA MARGARITIS
Emorphia Margaritis is an aspiring screenwriter in the Humber Film and T.V production program. ‘Corsages and Cribs’ was her directorial debut, and she has now written and directed her second short film ‘Edge of Hope’.
Up next, Emorphia is writing a feature for K. Singh Film Productions while simultaneously writing her own passion projects.

PRODUCER--CHRISTOPHER FERNANDES
Christopher Fernandes is an aspiring filmmaker currently studying his third and final year at Humber College in the Film and Television Production program. In the future, Christopher aspires to be a feature length film Producer and Cinematographer.
Christopher is a professional filmmaker skilled at content creation, and is passionate about visual storytelling and production. Over the years he has tried explored a wide range of genres including: horror, comedy, action, drama, and commercial.
Christopher has worked closely with Producers and Cinematographers and came to the conclusion that this is something he would like to pursue as a career. He wants to be able to create memorable content for people to enjoy

1st ASSISTANT DIRECTOR--MEGAN RASO
Megan is an aspiring filmmaker, hoping to make her way into the industry and pursue a career as an assistant director. The student short documentary "In the Red" is Megan’s directorial debut. Last year she worked on a short student film "Edge of Hope" as 1st AD.
Currently, Megan is producing the short film “Meter’s Running” as a graduating project for the Humber Film & TV Production Program.
Elliot is a cinematographer raised in Ottawa, Ontario. Photography and film have inspired
his desire to create cinematic works with a meaningful impact and show the power that is
held by what can be captured. Working with cameras encompasses what Elliot loves to do
and experience.

This brought him to hone his eye for images on projects like working with artists and
music festivals, promotional videos, curating content for brands, weddings, music videos,
and collaborating on short films. In 2021, Elliot was proudly the recipient of the Edmund
Long CSC Memorial Award for a student displaying the highest degree of ability in
cinematography. Recent cinematography works include Albatross (2021),
Pretty Good To Be Here (2021), and Private Eye and Apple Pie (2021). We will see Elliot's
work on an upcoming short film, Severance, where he is excited to continue his journey
in filmmaking,photography, and telling stories cinematically.

DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY--ELLIOT STICKLE

PICTURE EDITOR--ALEX BALANT
Alex Balant was the picture editor on “Edge of Hope”. With an eagerness for the post production process this was Alex’s editorial debut. It was a great honour getting to work on this film along side so many talented individuals. Specializing in Cinematography & Picture Editing in his final year of Humber College's Film & Television Production Program Alex, has taken great efforts to learn and practice all aspects of filmmaking including pre and post production.
After graduation Alex is looking to continue gaining valuable experience in all aspects of media production and find engaging opportunities to learn new skills and technologies to help create more stories like “Edge Of Hope”.

SOUND RECORDIST--JUSTIN MCMANN
Justin McMann is a 3rd year student in Humber College's Film and Television Production program where he specializes in Post Sound and Scriptwriting. Recently, he has been working on the PSA's "Crafting for a Cure" & "Arquives" as Post sound, and the short film "He, Who Loves Me" as the ADR & Foley assistant and Re-Recording Mixer.
He recently wrapped production as the Location Sound Recordist for the Portfolio project "In Cold Blood" and also serves as one of the Writer's & Creator's of the project while also serving as the film's Dialogue editor & Re-Recording Mixer. On the film Edge of Hope, he was the Location Sound Recordist.

PRODUCTION MANAGER--KIARA EATON
Kiara Eaton was the Production Manager on “Edge of Hope”. She is an aspiring producer from Cambridge Ontario with great success under her belt with her first documentary “Look up” being screened multiple times in New York City.
Kiara has also made her art director debut with the short horror film “Where Shadows Lie”, She hopes to continue to be a Production Manager and work toward Producing documentaries.

SCRIPT SUPERVISOR--NAVN DIEM
Navn is a 3rd year student in Humber College’s Film and Television Production program where he specialises in directing. He was the Script Supervisor on the movie Edge of Hope. He specialises in directing. Projects he has worked on include: Big Sky as Gaffer, NBCUniversal as Director of Photography, Talking Rosie as Script Supervisor, Private Eye and Apple Pie as Art Director and the short documentary A Humber Hawk pause as Director of Photography and Camera Operator.
Currently he is working as the Director and one of the Writers and Creators on the short SciFi Western “In Cold Blood”.

COSTUMES/HAIR/MAKEUP--NELL SOMMERVILLE
Nell Sommerville did costume, hair, and makeup for Edge of Hope. She loves hot glue, glitter, and iron-on appliques, and someday hopes to apply them simultaneously.
Outside of the art department, Nell wrote and directed her first short film, Big Sky, in 2021, and aspires to use it to springboard her career as a screenwriter.

FINISHING SUPERVISOR--MIKE JONES
Mike Jones is the Finishing Editor for Edge Of Hope. Born and raised in Victoria, BC and now living in Toronto, ON he's specializing in Sound Editing & Picture Editing in his third and final year of Humber College's Film & Television Production Program.
His plans after graduating are to work on feature length theatrical releases in the Post Sound Editorial department

2ND SOUND EDITOR--HARRISON SMITH
Harrison Smith is the 2nd Sound Editor for Edge of Hope. Initially being passionate only about Picture Editing coming into the program, Harrison found himself also being passionate about sound both on-location and in post-production.
On the side he enjoys reffing hockey games and being involved with Humber's Esports department as a videographer.

CRAFT/TRANSPORTATION--ZACHARY DOOLAN
Zachary Doolan is an emerging filmmaker from Caledon, Ontario, who is studying Film Production at Humber College. In 2021, he directed a short film “Meet Me in the Hallway”, and was the cinematographer for the short documentary “Down to Earth”. In his final year of film school, he wrote and directed the short psychological horror “Where Shadows Lie”, which will be completed in April 2022.
He is currently building his career as a writer and director, and hopes to make impactful, thoughtful films that leave the audience thinking long after the credits roll.
TRANSPORTATION--DAVID NYGUYEN
David Nguyen is a Toronto-based filmmaker and creator with a background in the earth and environmental sciences. Currently studying at Humber College, his projects include picture editing the Humber College dramas "Chorus" and "He, Who Loves Me," as well as production roles in camera and sound departments.
His latest project is taking the reins as director on a series of interstitials for the graduation screening for Humber's 2022 Film and TV Production graduating class.
